Did you have your home listed for sale and for some reason it didn't sell?
There may be several reasons for this! But don't be discouraged! We are in a much different market right now than we were even 6 months ago. It may be time to try again.
Here are some things to think about when listing your home.
Number 1: Are you listing with the right person? Yes, I'm a realtor so of course this is going to be my first point, but think about it. Your home is probably the biggest investment you've ever made. You need someone on your side with your best interest at heart, not someone who is just trying to make a quick buck.
Number 2: What time of year are you listing in? Historically, Spring is a fantastic time to list your home. Several buyers start looking in the Spring time.
Number 3: Have you touched up your home to get it show ready? In today's market things are selling fast, so you probably don't need to make all the improvements you've dreamt about to get your home market ready, but you should still make small touch ups. Focus on things like paint touch ups and landscape sprucing.
