Although recent years have seen some of the lowest residential home inventory Central Oklahoma has ever experienced, we ended 2023 and started 2024 with some of the biggest inventory numbers in the last five years. But what happened in January 2024?

Contracts Are Flying!
The lower interest rates in the middle of December created a mini buying frenzy during a time of year that usually has very low real estate activity. New contracts are up almost 30 percent over the last 2 months and listings just can’t keep up.
What it means for you!
There are going to be fewer residential homes on the market to choose from moving forward unless we see a massive jump in listings as we hit the Spring.
